Love the photos of the dogs. They are indeed growing. I hadn't known Basenjis needed special care with their innards, so will tuck it away for future reference.

Whether a person decides to implant substitutes for the dog, I'm quite certain the dog would know the difference and provide reproachful looks at its owner forever.

But I'm glad you've returned with news of the canine crew. Funny, I'd just run across something about the Neuticles, but where? Some guy swore by them, but . . . he was recounting his dog's sad look when he came to after the operation and went to lick himself. apparently he looked up with sadness in his eyes.

It's a guy thing. Notice there is no such thing as Titlcles, silicone implants for the females.

How foolish this all is in a world where so many go hungry, huh? Artificial dog balls?

And welcome back to your Blog! I've followed, elsewhere, your Nightmare on the Boardwalk stories, but I've missed your pictures of the pups.

And what splendid doggies they are.

I had Cailean neutered (they don't use that expression here, they say "castrated" which sounds so painful, so I prefer the Bob Barker word ...) and don't regret it. However, he is nearly always thought to be a female. His todger is still there, but so close to the ground is his body that it cannot be seen easily. And no knackers. And he squats when he pees which many dachshunds do, though his friend Humphrey does cock a leg.

I'm not sure that I'd want to put Cailean through the trauma of having cosmetic implants at this stage of the game, but, you know, I might have if it could have been done when he was neutered.

So it goes ...
